The District Technology Coordinator shall be assigned duties related to
the planning and evaluating of the acquisition and implementation of
technology to improve student learning and promote teacher, staff, and administrator effectiveness in our school district.

? To coordinate the use of technology by teachers,
administrators, support staff, and students to enhance the
efficiency and effectiveness of programs and services.
? To train and support staff in the integration of educational
technology skills into the curriculum and to help teachers
obtain, learn, and use educational technology resources to
improve their instructional effectiveness.


1. College degree 

2. Working knowledge of telecommunications and networking.
3. Knowledge of current equipment, software, instructional strategies, and
curriculum trends in technology as they relate to the school and classroom.
4. Ability to provide a staff development program in technology.
5. Ability to work cooperatively with others.

The Technology Director’s salary will not be less than $65,000.  Benefits include Health,
