Teach 5th-8th grade science

PEL with Middle School Endorsement in Science

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Additional Notes

Calling all educators certified to teach middle school science in Illinois. We have an exciting opportunity for you. GES Is looking for a passionate educator to take our 5th through 8th grade science program to the next level for the 2024-25 school year. If you have leadership qualities and yearn for a job in a school district that will give you opportunities to develop those qualities, this is the job for you. The district anticipates an administrative vacancy in the near future and is open to developing a leader from within the school for this position if the right candidate comes along. Not interested in taking on a leadership role but have a passion for providing junior high students with an innovative, hands-on science curriculum, we want you to apply too. Whether looking for your first job in education or wanting a change, we welcome all candidates to apply. We honor all years of experience at GES.

Now is an exciting time to join our Bulldog family as we are growing. Last summer, we broke ground on Phase I of a construction project, the addition of 2 early childhood classrooms. Those classrooms are near completion. Phase II will follow at some point in the near future and includes the construction of a new gym. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a front row seat for all the excitement to come. If you desire to work in an Exemplary district with a family atmosphere that embraces creativity and a team approach, this is the job for you.

Need more to pique your interest? There is more. Our faculty/staff is given the freedom to dress casually every day of the school year. We work hard, have fun, and dress comfortably at GES. In addition, we have recently adopted a policy granting the children of full-time school district employees the opportunity to attend GES tuition-free. This new policy serves as an added incentive for candidates who value the prospect of sharing their child(ren)'s educational journey within the same school community.
