Duties

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1.        Assist with bus routing.
2.        Communicate with bus drivers and bus aides regarding routing and transportation needs.
3.        Communicate with District departments to assist in facilitating transportation for students, including students with Individual Educational Plans.
4.        Perform data entry and assist with transportation reports.
5.        Maintain and organize transportation files.
6.        Keeps accurate records.
7.    Organize contacts, email, schedule, and voicemail of the Transportation Coordinator.
8.    Support the daily functions of the district Transportation Department.
9.        Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Computer skills including word processing, database and spreadsheet, inventory, general record keeping, event coordination, organizational skills, communication skills, positive interpersonal skills.
 

Salary/Benefits

Commensurate with Skills, Experience and Qualifications

 In accordance with the salary schedule for support service personnel as approved by the Board of Education.

JOB GOAL:               To contribute to the efficient operations of the Transportation Department in order to effectively execute the District 100 Vision.
 
REPORTS TO:           Coordinator of Transportation

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:    Ten-month year 

EVALUATION:                   Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions
                                    of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel
