Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing individual and group counseling to students in grades 6-12 in an alternative program (including crisis intervention)
  • Facilitate communication with students, family members, and school personnel to address a student’s social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with home school districts as needed
  • Maintain case logs/documentation in regards to services provided to students and families
  • Collaborate with educational and social service agencies to develop appropriate services for students and their families


Professional Educator License with an endorsement in school social work.
