Duties
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individual and group counseling to students in grades 6-12 in an alternative program (including crisis intervention)
- Facilitate communication with students, family members, and school personnel to address a student’s social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with home school districts as needed
- Maintain case logs/documentation in regards to services provided to students and families
- Collaborate with educational and social service agencies to develop appropriate services for students and their families
Qualifications
Professional Educator License with an endorsement in school social work.
