Duties

ALL CLASSROOM TEACHING POSITIONS (Elementary, Middle School and High School). (Additional responsibilities for specific teaching assignments are considered separately).

The Basic Function of This Position Is:

  1. To impart to each student as much knowledge and skill as possible
  2. To help develop responsible, healthy attitudes of self 

 Major Responsibilities:

  1. Planning
  2. Direct Teaching
  3. Indirect Teaching
  4. Discipline and Supervision
  5. Curriculum Development
  6. Evaluation
  7. Reporting to Parents
  8. Record Keeping
  9. Classroom Management
  10. Professional Development
  11. Staff Member
  12. All Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. Valid Teaching Certificate
  3. Middle School Math Endorsement Preferred
