Duties
Supervises and coordinates all SASED programs and staff assigned to Member District(s). Directs the implementation of management/personnel policies, procedures, rules and practices with Member District(s). Demonstrates leadership in working collaboratively as a member of the administrative team in local district and SASED in promoting the mission and goals of the organization, in guiding the delivery of services, and in taking initiative.
Qualifications
The Special Education Administrator will hold a Type 75 General Administrative Certificate with either a Type 03, Type 09 or Type 10 teacher certificate with an endorsement in one or more areas of special education or an equivalent Illinois Professional Educator License with a General Administrative endorsement and endorsements in one or more areas of special education.
Salary/Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience and education. Health Insurance available. Sick and personal days, work 205 days per year. TRS.
