Duties

STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY: 

Manages the district student information and record management database systems, assures that state reporting functions are implemented consistently, and maintains the functionality and interoperability between various district database resources.

Maintain student data integrity and accuracy.  Generate student data for all local, state, and federal reporting requirements. Support day-to-day functions of the student management system (Skyward). Job tasks in the following areas of Skyward: Attendance, grading, test scores, student fees, bus transportation, scheduling, ISBE data submissions, state & federal reporting, online registration, and importing and exporting of student data.

COMPENSATION:

  •  Compensation commensurate with experience
  • Position is 12 months with an excellent benefits package

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience or training.  Experience with computer systems, database management, and student records systems.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel and Word. Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills. Well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
