Duties

The Behavior Intervention Coach will provide consultation to teams as well as direct support to students who are identified as exhibiting behavioral difficulties which impede their social development and academic success. This includes conducting functional behavioral analysis and writing behavior intervention/management plans.

 

Qualifications

  • Hold a Type 75 or candidate will be expected to obtain.
  • Applied Behavior Analysis certification or candidate will be expected to obtain.
  • Certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or another nonviolent crisis intervention program.
  • Preference given to individuals who hold an LBS2 certification.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, track, and report potential causes of specific behaviors.
  • Knowledge of research-based interventions and strategies.
  • Ability to train staff and parents on behavioral interventions.
  • Flexibility with scheduling for optimum student support.
