Position: Computer Science Teacher - High School
College Preparatory School of America in Lombard, Illinois is seeking talented educators to teach elementary, middle, and high school computer science classes. Both Part-time and Full-time positions are available. Teachers should be confident in teaching some but not necessarily all of the following classes: Typing, Scratch, HTML, Python, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science A (Java). Applicants should have a thorough understanding of computers and have a passion for teaching and explaining logic, computers, and programming to children. Familiarity with Robotics or prior experience programming professionally is a plus.

Applicants are required to have previous experience as a computer science teacher. Resources and support will be provided throughout the year. Professional development opportunities including training and guidance regarding teaching AP classes will be provided to new teachers.
