Duties
Position Summary/Purpose: We are seeking a visionary and dedicated leader to serve as Elementary Principal. Guided by our vision to cultivate lifelong learners and inspire dreams, the Principal will work to shape a brighter future for our global community. This role requires a leader who empowers students to embrace learning, achieve their full potential, and develop their emotional, social, and physical well-being. Through collaboration with staff, families, and community members, the Principal will foster a culture of academic excellence, inclusivity, and growth.
Role and Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:
- Instructional Leadership:
- Design, implement, and evaluate instructional programs aligned with district and state standards.
- Utilize data-driven practices to support continuous academic achievement and growth.
- Curriculum leadership, especially focusing on 21st-century skills, technology integration, and project-based learning.
- Guide and inspire teachers to deliver innovative instruction that nurtures lifelong learning.
- School Operations:
- Manage the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Ability to develop and implement crisis response plans and training staff on safety protocols.
- Oversee budgets, resources, and facilities with efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
- Staff Supervision and Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate highly qualified school personnel.
- Foster a professional learning environment and collaboration towards the pursuit of excellence.
- Provide coaching and feedback to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Family and Community Engagement:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with families to support student success and well-being.
- Act as a bridge between the school, district leadership, and the community, promoting shared goals and partnerships.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
- Student Support:
- Advocate for equitable opportunities to support the diverse needs of all learners.
- Implement programs and resources to fidelity for special education, English Language Learners (ELLs), and gifted students ensuring compliance with services and learning objectives.
- Implement programs and practices that prioritize students’ emotional, social, and physical development.
- Cultivate a positive school climate where students feel respected, valued, and inspired to dream big.
Salary/Benefits
Starting Salary: $115,780+, based on experience

Additional Notes
Preferred Skills:
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Strong technology and educational leadership skills.
- As a multi-language district, we always prefer staff who are bilingual but this is not required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build trust with diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the community.
- Administrative experience preferred.
Physical Demands: mobility within the instructional area and throughout the school facility, visual acuity close/distance/depth perception, hearing to receive information, verbal to exchange information. Physical demands often include walking, sitting, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching forward, lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, pushing and pulling
Working conditions / Environmental Conditions: indoor climate-controlled school environment. May include being outdoors for extended periods of time throughout the school year.
