Duties
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, behavioral and social skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. This position will also include case management of IEPs with expectations to facilitate and lead IEP meetings. Teacher may be co-teaching academic classes and or teaching within a small instruction classroom.
Qualifications
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Must hold an appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate LBS1 endorsement. Ideal Resource candidate will have co-teaching experience, a passion for skill-based studies, experience writing IEP goals, and an ability to lead IEP meetings. Ideal Self-Contained candidate will have experience working with students who have low incidence disabilities.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time / 10 Months
