Duties

An ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Math, good parental communication skills, be highly organized, knowledgeable  in Algebra and Upper Level Math - Pre-Calculus, Calculus, & Statistics, must have a bachelor’s degree, and IL teacher certification. Retired teachers may also apply. This teacher will work to establish differentiated high school math courses designed to meet the needs of students at different proficiencies within grade levels. Establish positive, professional relationships with students, parents, and staff. Create student-centered classroom environments where instruction is differentiated and students are highly engaged in learning.

Qualifications

Current Illinois Professional Educator License for teaching math to grades 9-12. Candidate must excel in all forms of communication, collaborative working relationships, and strong technology skills. Master's Degree in Mathematics is preferred for dual-credit offerings.  

Salary/Benefits

Total salary and benefits based on Collective Bargaining Agreement.
