Duties

The duties of this position shall be established by the administration. Duties include but are not
limited to: provide social work services to students, provide small group and individual services,
consultation to teachers, provide outreach services to families of students, serve within the district’s
school improvement team, and assist with teacher training regarding social/emotional and mental health
supports. The successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with students, parents,
colleagues, and the administration.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold one or more of the following: master’s degree in social work,
master’s degree in counseling, and/or willingness to pursue licensure.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education, in that sole and exclusive role, may find appropriate and acceptable.  Candidates must be able to
successfully pass a background check.

Salary/Benefits

Salary based upon education and experience.
