Duties
Description: To provide Speech and Language services to students
- Provide service to children in grades Early Childhood through 8th grade with identified speech/language needs
- Undertake assessments and screenings, provide speech and/or language observations and evaluations as part of a Case Study Evaluation, and provide referrals.
- Plan and provide appropriate treatment/speech and language therapy; monitor and report progress.
- Write reports and attend annual reviews for IEP compliance within timelines of state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate, consult, and support Special Services Team Members, Classroom Teachers, and other staff members, as appropriate.
Terms of Employment: Three days per week for the 2023-2024 school calendar. Flexible days, expect Wednesdays, and some work from home offered.
Qualifications
Must hold, or be eligible for, a valid Illinois Speech/Language Pathology Certificate. A Master's Degree is required.
