Duties
Job Summary:
The crossing guard ensures that children, while going to and from school, safely cross roadways at crossing locations and that no children are in the roadway while traffic is moving. The District is seeking to hire three crossing guards, with one position serving as a floater to assist in high traffic areas and to provide coverage for staff who are absent
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school graduate;
- Candidate must be 21 years old;
- Candidate must be able to complete training provided by the District;
- Prior crossing guard experience preferred;
- Must be able to work well with students, parents, administration, and community members to foster a safe atmosphere for students;
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits:
- $18.00 per hour;
- Work hours: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
