Duties

The Office Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks to facilitate the daily operation of the school including communication, ordering, school information systems management, program coordination, scheduling, etc.  The Office Manager will work full-time during the school year and part-time over the summer months.  The Office Manager will oversee the Office Assistant.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, proactive planning, attention to detail, reliability and trustworthiness
  • SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP – Office staff are expected to consistently exhibit and model Christlike attitudes and behavior before the students and the rest of the school. The staff is expected to be able to articulate the Christian purpose and the mission of Naperville Christian Academy and answer questions about the operation of the school. Active, joyful participation in any required staff meetings and required all school events will be expected.
  •  OFFICE MANAGEMENT, ENVIRONMENT, AND GENERAL TASKS- Office staff are expected to maintain a neat, organized, clean, and welcoming office space. This implies that employees will take initiative in maintaining the office appearance, inventory of supplies, and overall quality control. The office staff is expected to answer the phone, screen and admit visitors, and greet and assist guests, students, parents, and staff with a welcoming, cheerful, and helpful spirit. Office staff must be willing to help with any tasks needed for the daily operation of the school, including communications, first aid, event planning, record keeping, maintaining equipment, & etc.

  • PROFESSIONALISM – The office staff member is to honor God by consistently and joyfully demonstrating excellence in his or her work, punctuality, speech, attitude, dress, and attention to duties, both inside and outside of school.
