Duties

Calling all educators certified to teach middle school math in Illinois.  We have an exciting opportunity for you.

GES is looking for a passionate educator certified in middle school math and educational administration.  This person will teach 8th grade math and algebra 75% of the day and work as an assistant principal 25% of the day.  If you have leadership qualities and yearn for a job in a school district that will give you opportunities to develop those qualities, this is the job for you.  The district anticipates a superintendent vacancy within the next 5 years and would love the opportunity to develop a leader from within the school for this position if the right candidate comes along.

Not interested in taking on a leadership role but have a passion for providing junior high students with an innovative, hands-on math curriculum, we want you to apply too.  For this candidate, this full-time teaching position will entail teaching 7th and 8th grade math.

There is no such thing as too little or too much experience.  Whether you are fresh out of college or a veteran teacher with years of experience, we want you to apply.  We honor years of experience.

Now is an exciting time to join our Bulldog family as we are growing.  We will be starting a new Transitional Kindergarten Program for the 2022-23 school year, and we are in the midst of preparing for a major construction project.  In the Summer of 2022 we will break ground for an addition that includes 2 early childhood classrooms and a new gymnasium.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a front row seat for all the excitement to come.
