Duties
The chosen candidate will prepare a vocal music curriculum for junior high and senior high school students that effectively teaches the appropriate standards as well as provides the background knowledge and skills to be successful at the next level. The teacher will be a leader in the community hosting music concerts and participating at community events. In addition to teaching vocal music at the junior/senior high school level, this teacher will provide general music to elementary students.
Qualifications
The teaching candidate must have the proper Professional Educator License prior to starting.
Salary/Benefits
Pay will be comparable to other teachers in the District with similar years of experience and education. Insurance will be covered at 100% for single insurance, and 70% for any package above single coverage.
Additionally, the district is offering a signing and retention bonus of $4,500 for new hires to the District who fill this vacancy.

We have a desire for a full-time employee, but welcome part-time applicants to apply.
