Duties
Teach elementary music for grades K -5, jr high band, and high school band and choir.
Qualifications
Qualified and licensed to teach band and music education at the K-12 levels in Illinois.
Salary/Benefits
As per negotiated collective bargaining agreement which is posted on the district's website. The district does pay all of the teacher's TRS and that is not included in the salary schedules.
Additional Notes
Interest in coaching and/or sponsorship of extra-curriculars would be beneficial but not required.
We are a very small school district but have lots of opportunities. The teacher has a great deal of autonomy as long as students are learning and performing.
