  1. To assist in maintaining high quality services for staff, students, parents, and community members who utilize the services assigned to this position.
  2. To assist immediate supervisor in carrying out the duties assigned to that positon.
  3. To strive for positive and collegial public relations with the staff, students, parents and community members.
  4. To maintain confidentiality in all areas assigned to this position.
  5. To act as a role model for students and staff and to provide leadership in the areas assigned to this position that meets the needs of students, staff, and parents.



  1. A bachelor’s degree in a communications specific field.
  2. Such alternative to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  3. Professional experience in public relations position and experience working with public schools preferred.
