Duties
The principal will serve as the lead instructional leader, coordinate efforts to build the capacity of teachers and maintain high student outcomes by promoting and modeling a culture that supports the District’s strategic plan. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work with teachers and staff to implement the Illinois Learning Standards with integrity. The principal will be responsible for the supervision and evaluation of staff, school leadership, school improvement planning, resource allocation, supervision of extra-curricular events and activities, as well as ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment . The successful candidate will create, develop and sustain relationships with staff, parents, students and community that result in active student engagement in the learning process. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Superintendent and Board of Education as necessary.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a valid administrative license/certificate and or willing to enroll in classes to become qualified within two years of employment.
Salary/Benefits
Salary/Benefits: Minimum starting salary of $90,000 plus TRS benefits and $525 per month toward health insurance. 11-month contract with a start date of July 1, 2025. Salary will be negotiated at the time of hire and years of educational and administrative experience will be considered.
