Duties
Tri-Point CUSD #6J is looking for a strong educational leader with a growth mindset, an emphasis with building student & staff morale, community engagement, and a background in curriculum to lead the students and staff of Tri-Point Lower Elementary School (PK-3) in Kempton IL.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- The ability to facilitate a cycle of growth for both students and faculty
- An understanding of a standards-based grading philosophy
- A focus on student learning and developing talent
- The ability to lead curriculum selection and evaluation
- An understanding of research-based ongoing assessment practices
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptive Leadership Skills
- Goal of an equitable learning environment for all students
Qualifications
Must possess PEL with General Administrative endorsement completed by July 1, 2026 and successfully complete the Danielson framework training required for teacher evaluation. Those currently working towards a degree and expect to be completed by the start are encouraged to apply.
Salary/Benefits
12 month contract with 20 days vacation as well as all scheduled school holidays. Salary will be regionally competitive and established by the board of education commensurate with experience and qualifications. Board also offers individual life insurance and a minimum of individual health insurance for this position.
