Duties
Teaching position in an alternative setting working with students in grades 6-12 with behavior/social/emotional issues. Teacher will work closely with other staff members including: social workers, counselors, and truancy to address student needs. Duties will include: prepare academic material, manage classroom behavior, and maintain accurate student reports (grades, progress, and disciplinary records). Will also be responsible for supervising teacher aide, maintaining effective communication with parents/guardians, and other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Professional Educator License (PEL).
