Duties

• Evaluating student progress specific to behavioral, emotional, and mental health concerns and the effects on academic progress.
• Serve as the liaison to families, the community and other stakeholders to ensure open communication and continuing dialogue.
• Facilitating and coordinating the delivery of educational and mental health services with and by community agencies and service providers.
• Provide family services, individual and small group counseling services.
• Crisis response for students in critical need.
• Helping students develop and maintain personal, social and academic competencies.
• Attend and participate in IEP, 504, and other problem solving meetings, as necessary.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Therapist, mental health professional, or certified School Social Worker in the State of Illinois.

Salary/Benefits

Salary based on the collective bargaining agreement.
