Additional Notes
Menta Academy North
Menta Academy North has recently opened a Sports Academy for grades 9 - 12. The new curriculum incorporates athletic themes and content into the instruction of core subject areas to sustain educational engagement of each student. We have recently added a fully equipped weight room and two trainers with collegiate sports experience to benefit the health and physical aspects of our students. Eligible student/athletes will have the opportunity to play AAU sports on school teams in the evenings and on weekends, in addition to community and intramural sports activities. The coaching staff works to prepare students to complete at their highest level, thus providing opportunities for athletes to be seen by college recruiters and coaches.
In addition to the Sports Academy, Menta Academy North offers educational services, starting at age 5, that meet both the developmental and individual learning needs of each student. Classrooms are designed to be active learning environments where young people have the opportunity to experience educational and behavioral success on a daily basis.
