Duties

We are looking for a highly motivated Dean of Students to assist the building principal and assistant principals in the administration of the building and the supervision of students. This person will work with 2 other Middle School Deans to support student management while promoting a safe and positive school environment.

About our district:
West Chicago Elementary School District 33 is a Pre-K through 8th grade system. There are six elementary schools, three preschool and one 6/7/8 middle school. West Chicago Elementary School District 33’s population reflects the diverse demographics of West Chicago and portions of Winfield and Wheaton, from which it draws its student enrollment. The overall student population is 4,530. Of that number, approximately 80.1% of the students come from Hispanic origins, 13.8% White, 2.5% Asian/Pacific Islander and 2.6% Black.

The Mission of West Chicago Elementary School District 33 is to impart the knowledge and skills that will empower all students to pursue their maximum potential to confidently contribute to and benefit from our society locally and globally.

Leman Middle School Background
Leman Middle School serves 1,300 sixth- through eighth-graders in an innovative and responsive learning environment. The staff at Leman is a tight-knit community and fosters a family-like environment for all. 

Highlights of our programming include the following:

  • Daily 80-minute blocks of Language Arts and Math for all students
  • Daily common PLT and planning time for all content areas
