Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Implementing IEP goals and recording data towards those goals.
- Initial and Annual Reviews.
- Collaboration and co-teaching with staff across grade levels.
- Communication with students, staff and parents.
- Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for intervention services in individual, and/or small group settings.
- Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students.
- Conducts student assessments to identify those eligible for intervention services and to plan instruction. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
- Collaborates, as needed, with appropriate personnel regarding students who may need specialized interventions.
Qualifications
Professional Educator License with a LBS1 Certification.
