Duties
Pontiac Township High School is seeking a full-time Math Teacher. Applicants must be skilled in working with student accommodations, classroom and behavior management, developing engaging lesson plans for diverse needs, and individualizing instruction based upon learner's unique communication and cognitive needs. Effective communication and strong collaboration skills with other professionals are essential to this position.
Qualifications
PTHS is looking for dynamic and dedicated "lead learners" who have the passion and patience deserved of our students. We seek candidates who will engage our students in problem-based learning activities. Course load will depend on qualifications of approved candidate.
Salary/Benefits
Salary is regionally competitive. Base pay for the 2023 - 2024 school year is $41,674. Employee health and dental insurance is paid by the district.
