Do you have a passion for cells, dissections, ecology, plants, and anatomy? Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Life Science Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an educator who is excited to teach courses like Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Botany, and other life science courses while inspiring students to explore the wonders of science. We encourage the use of Next Generation Science Standards, hands-on experiments, lab activities, and technology to create an engaging and dynamic learning experience for students. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry in the classroom, preparing students to become future scientists and informed citizens. Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Salary schedule and benefits can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Arthur CUSD 305 and the Arthur Education Association.
Additional Notes
ALAH HS is located in the heart of central Illinois. Our enrollment is approximately 300 students and this position is a full time position in the Science Department. Professional development and collaboration are encouraged and supported. Our school has a positive relationship with our Board of Education and communities that we serve.
