Duties

Lexington is a fantastic school-community, and we are looking for a fantastic foreign language teacher to join our family!  The position is for the 2022-23 school year, beginning in August 2022 and will provide foreign language instruction for 8th-12th grade students.  Full-time preferred; consideration will be given to part time applicants; preference will be given to Spanish instructors and those who are willing to sponsor extracurriculars or are able to coach.

Qualifications

Professional Educator's License that qualifies candidate to be able to teach foreign language at the secondary level:  9-12 certification is required, 6-12 is preferred.

Salary/Benefits

Salary is determined by experience in conjunction with negotiated agreement.

The Lexington School District is located in and around a small, rural community situated along Interstate #55, north of the twin cities of Bloomington and Normal. Lexington High School was declared a "Distinguished School" by Illinois State Board of Education.
