Job Description
The employee in this position provides leadership for the staff to maintain and develop quality programs that will create an environment in which students achieve appropriate educational goals in an efficient and effective manner.

- Demonstrates excellence in verbal and written communications.
- Has experience with collaborative groups and processes in a student-centered environment.
- Demonstrates expertise and leadership in programming for students with disabilities with an emphasis on increased student achievement
- Competency in programming for students demonstrating a variety of exceptional challenges and characteristics
- Able to establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with school and community stakeholders
- Has knowledge and understanding of federal and state statutes and regulations and practices those accurately and effectively
- Maintains a professional demeanor acting with integrity, fairness and in an ethical manner
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership and student program development
- Other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as the Board may specify.
