Duties
Responsible for keeping district accounting records and reports to the Superintendent.
Responsible for keeping all district payroll records, calculating timesheets, and preparing payroll.
Coordinates the district property insurance claims and the district health insurance plan.
Receives and inputs all local, state, and federal funds, including tax distributions.
Prepares financial bank reconciliation.
Performs basic payroll and accounting-type tasks as required, including gathering and depositing funds.
Processes W-2's, wage and tax statements.
Processes Federal, State, and Social Security payments.
Completes other related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in school financial management, accounting, or bookkeeping preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and school accounting systems (Skyward, SDS, or similar).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Must demonstrate confidentiality and professionalism.
Salary/Benefits
Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, paying no less than $23 per hour with a 12 month contract.
