Duties
Seeking an Administrative Assistant who works directly with the building administration. The workday is 6 hours with holidays off (and paid) with no workdays over winter and spring breaks and June and July. The position is available effective August 1.
Qualifications
Qualifications include the following:
· excellent computer and typing skills with a strong background with all Google platforms
· ability to operate general office equipment and business machines
· must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
· must possess language skills including composition, punctuation, spelling, and an ability to draft routine correspondence
· ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
· maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality regarding school, student and personnel matters
· must be able to respond sensitively to questions and complaints from students, parents, staff, and the public and present an overall positive first impression for visitors to Rhodes School
Salary/Benefits
The salary will be based on past experience in a role as an assistant and/or work in the school setting but the starting pay will be no less than $17 per hour. 100% of the premiums are covered for single medical insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) and single dental insurance as well as a significant portion is paid towards additional medical insurance coverage for spouse, child, or family. Benefits also include sick and personal days as well as holiday pay.
