Duties
Classroom teacher of approximately 15 students in our One-Way Dual Language (Spanish) program.
Qualifications
By August, candidates need to have their early education or elementary education teaching license and a (Spanish) bilingual education endorsement or the 5-year temporary "Educator License with Stipulations" for Spanish transitional bilingual education.
Salary/Benefits
Salary range is determined by years of experience and educational levels on the teacher contract's set salary schedule, which ranges from $56,143 to $77,643 for SY 2025/26. 90% of the single medical insurance (BlueCross/BlueShield PPO or HMO) and 100% of the single dental insurance premium costs are paid by the school district for full-time certified staff members. Additional board-paid contributions are made for those taking spouse, children, or family medical coverage.
Additional Notes
Per the teachers' contract, newly hired bilingual education teachers receive a $3,000 hiring bonus.
