Duties
Full-Time junior high position working with 6-7-8 grades. The instructor should be a highly motivated teacher knowledgeable of RtI process, Illinois Standards and differentiated instruction.
The duties entail:
- Using data to design and implement daily lessons and interventions.
- Using research-based instructional strategies to deliver content to classes.
- Delivering PBIS lessons and reinforcing school expectations.
- Participating in the school’s professional learning communities to further develop the building.
- Providing continuous proactive communication with students, families and district personnel.
District uses i-Ready mathematics and Amplify ELA to support content instruction.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a valid Professional Educator License from ISBE for an LBS-1 Special Education Teacher
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits are based upon collective bargaining agreement and experience applied.
