Duties include but may not be limited to: creating lesson plans, preparing classroom activities, organizing teaching materials, evaluating student performance, maintaining classroom records, meeting with parents, organizing service projects, collaborating with all faculty and staff, and participating in school events. St. Thomas School is a thriving Catholic school located in central Illinois with an enrollment of 165 preschool-8th grade students.


Bachelor's degree in education, valid Professional Educator License in the State of Illinois with the proper qualification to teach elementary students, passion for working with young children in a nurturing faith-based educational environment


Salary is based upon years of experience and education level. Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage is available. A 403 (b) retirement plan is offered.
