Duties

Duties include:

  • screens and evaluates children to identify those with speech/language disorders,
  • develops and implements appropriate IEPs,
  • conducts and/or participates in Eligibility/IEP conferences,
  • acts as case manager for 'speech only' students,
  • provides appropriate therapy for qualified students,
  • facilitates collaborative relationships with teachers and parents,
  • maintains communications with parents and school staff,
  • completes required paperwork in a timely manner

Qualifications

ISBE Licensure to work in schools (PEL), IDFPR IL Licensure, ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)

Salary/Benefits

Regionally competitive, all years of service and education applied to salary schedule to determine salary
