Duties
The Learning Alternative Program teacher will provide self-contained instruction for a caseload of approximately 6-7 special education students. This program helps students make progress on their social, emotional, and behavioral goals in a less restrictive environment at a public school. It is anticipated that there will be three paraprofessionals assisting in the program, who also help support these students as they attend specials and other opportunities outside of the S/C classroom. The program will have a new teacher for the first time in over a decade and we would like to find someone passionate and interested in updating the programming (level system, curriculum, etc.)
