Duties
Coal City Middle School is searching for a Certified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for the 2023/24 school year. The successful candidate will provide direct services per the IEP process to those students who have an identified hearing loss, serve as a consultant to school personnel and promote interest in and an understanding of the implications of a hearing impairment.

Salary/Benefits
In accordance with the negotiated agreement between the Board of Education and teachers’ association the 2022-23 Base salary (Full Time) at BA step 1 is $46,686.49 plus TRS contribution. Base Salary for the 2023-24 is to be determined by ongoing negotiations at this time. Benefits include life insurance plus health, dental and vision insurance benefits are available. Sick days, personal business days and reimbursement for professional growth are also provided.
