Duties
The elementary education teacher will be responsible for developing, delivering, and continually assessing, the grade level appropriate curriculum for the classroom/grade they are working in. The curriculum shall be delivered in a differentiated manner that provides a positive learning environment for all students while being designed around the Illinois State Learning Standards and adhering to Spring Garden Board Policy.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Possess both an understanding of best practices in regards to elementary education, and the ability to effectively implement that knowledge into classroom management and instruction. Must hold a valid Illinois education license endorsed to teach a self-contained, elementary education class.

Regionally competitive salary and benefit package based on the district collective bargaining agreement.
