Duties
Legacy Academy of Excellence Charter School,an International Baccalaureate MYP World School, in Rockford, Illinois is a K-8 public charter school with a diverse student population. Legacy is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate, self- starters who will be committed to upholding the school's rigorous academic standards while assisting teachers in providing the differentiated instruction, support and structure that will enable their students to reach high levels of academic achievement for the 2023/2024 school year. Educators at Legacy must be perceptive about children’s needs and sensitive to cultural differences, value all of the students and work to develop respectful relationships with the parents of their students. The successful candidate must be able to respond appropriately and maintain composure when reacting to serious behavior problems. Para professionals at Legacy must be committed to on-going professional development and be role models of the character virtues that are integrated into the curriculum. Additionally, Legacy Academy's staff must believe in and fully support the vision and mission of the school. Candidates must be fully certified with an ELS (PARA) license in the state of Illinois. First year completion and multi-year commitment bonuses are available.

Salary/Benefits
Salary range $40,000- $55,000
