Duties
The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing physical education activities, monitoring students, and evaluating student outcomes. Physical Education in the elementary school generally emphasizes sports-related skills, movement patterns, games, and fitness activities. This individual is responsible for communicating with all parties involved in the education of the student.
Qualifications
Must hold or be eligible for an Professional Education License for physical education. Must be able to pass a physical and criminal background check.
Salary/Benefits
SALARY/BENEFITS: Appropriate placement on the district certified salary schedule. Benefits include board paid retirement and full individual health insurance. Any additions of coverage for spouse and/or children the board will pay 55% of the difference for the additional coverage. Employee paid group dental & vision. 15 sick days & 2 personal days for full-time teacher.
