Duties
Responsible for maintaining and repairing cold and hot food service equipment (ie: coolers, freezers, warmers, ovens). Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate measures to fix them. Participate in the District’s Preventative Maintenance program. Respond to emergency repairs. Will be expected to be an active participant on the building leadership team and maintain strong communication with all facets of building leadership.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Illinois driver’s license required. Working knowledge of food service equipment. Have a basic knowledge of general preventive maintenance procedures. Experience working in the trades is preferred. Must have active Universal Type Section 608 Refrigeration Certification from the US EPA.
Salary/Benefits
RANGE OF PAY: $33.65 - $40.86 / Hourly
