Duties
The Unit District Band Director's duties include teaching instrumental music and rehearsing and conducting the 5th-6th grade, Junior High Band, and High School bands. Additionally, the Unit District Band Director must manage performances and competitions, as well as handle administrative tasks such as budget planning, equipment maintenance, and student recruitment. They are responsible for all aspects of the band program, from basic instruction to large-scale events and long-term program growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a State of Illinois PEL License with Proper endorsements to teach Music Education in Illinois.
Salary/Benefits
