Duties
Lexington High School is looking for a high school math teacher to join our team. The position begins in August of the 2025-26 school year.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold a Professional Educator’s License in the State of Illinois: 9-12 certification is required; 6-12 is preferred. Priority will be given to applicants with certification to teach additional subjects.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits are regionally competitive and determined by experience in conjunction with the negotiated agreement. The district offers a competitive benefits package and salaries range from $39,333.50 to $77,093.66, depending upon experience and post-bachelor's degree education.
Additional Notes
Our building is undergoing several renovations and additions that will be completed before the start of the 2025-26 school year. Our district contains an elementary-, a junior high-, and a high school, all of which are high achieving and have received numerous accolades. Our high school has received “Exemplary” State Designation five out of six years, and our staff enjoy small class sizes with great, well-behaved students. All of our achievements are possible due to an innovative, dedicated staff and a supportive community.
The City of Lexington is an easy 20 minute drive from Bloomington-Normal.
