Duties

 The Maintenance position is responsible for the maintenance of all district buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical. In addition, they shall perform a majority of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair, adjustment, and maintenance of the building systems, equipment and structures.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Licensure

 

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC experience - preferred
  • Plumbing experience - preferred
  • Carpentry experience - preferred
  • Basic computer skills - preferred
  • Communication and computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • General knowledge of boilers, chillers, fire alarm systems and lighting systems

Salary/Benefits

 $30.40/hour

    • Plows and salts drives and sidewalks as needed
    • Shovels walks and outside steps as needed
    • Winter hours vary on the weather. Starting early or staying late may be required
  • Working weekends and holidays may be required
  • Repair door locks and lockers
  • Assist with snow removal as required
  • Assists in setups and takedowns for building events
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned by their direct supervisor
  • Adheres to Board of Education policies and procedures
  • Maintain budget while ordering supplies for the campus
  • Coordinate all maintenance work throughout the building
  • Coordinate with general contractors on bigger projects
