Duties
Fisher Jr/Sr High School has an immediate opening for a full time High School Science Position. Candidates interested in the 2025-26 School Year are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high school-level Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science courses.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and promote hands-on learning.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and scientific inquiry.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, including lab activities, demonstrations, and technology, to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings as required.
