Duties
Responsible for classroom instructional activities, implementation of IEPs, potential co-teaching activities, and caseworker for specific students at Mount Pulaski High School. Duties include (and are not limited to):
- Assessing students' skills and determining educational needs
- Adapting lessons to meet students' needs
- Developing IEPs for students
- Teaching students as a class, one to one, in small groups, and/or integrated in a co-teaching regular education classroom based on needs
- Implementing IEPs, assessing performance, tracking progress
- Updating IEPs to reflect progress and goals
- Preparing students to transition from grade to grade and from high school to life after graduation
Qualifications
Required: Professional Educator License and LBS1 endorsement
Preferred (in addition):
- Experience with varying modes of student communication and students with social emotional and learning challenges
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with students and work collaboratively within teams

Additional Notes
Will also consider a certified teacher in the process of securing the LBS 1 endorsement.
