Duties

The primary duty of the general food service worker is to perform tasks necessary to ensure the cafeteria
runs smoothly and efficiently. Essential duties and responsibilities are: serving, dish room, cook,
and clean up.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to work with administration, faculty students and parents
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to perform duties as outlined
• Maintain excellent attendance and promptness
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Perform other duties necessary to the position as assigned by the Food Service Director or Adminstrator

Salary/Benefits

Salary is $14.70 per hour. Hours are 6:00 am - 1:30 pm; during school attendance days, plus in-service days. 

District pays the full rate of the individual health insurance premium.

Current TB test - paid by district

Current physical - paid by district

Must be able to pass a background check.
