Duties
Under the supervision of the building Principal, the Middle School ELA Teacher will design and manage ELA curriculum and instruction in a classroom setting that is aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards and implemented in a manner that successfully integrates into the overall learning objectives and methodology of the school.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents, individually and in groups. Design and manage classroom curriculum that is both engaging and growth driven.
Can hold a middle school ELA endorsement or have a professional education license and be willing to obtain an ELA endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive salary based on the district collective bargaining agreement.
